Scottsdale First Assembly Mission's Ministry

Unreached People of The World

Welcome to the Scottsdale First Assembly’s Missions web page. Our Mission Statement was spoken 2,000 years ago by Jesus Christ Himself in Matthew 28:19. Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost"
That is our purpose and that is why we exist as an organization. It is significant that this be stated upfront because many worthy causes exist both on national and international levels. As a result there are many fine philanthropic organizations, both faith-based and secular addressing these needs. Our goal is to not only address a cause or situation but primarily to minister the love of Jesus Christ to those in need.
The question we must ask first and foremost before organizing and moving on an area of need is “How do our efforts lend themselves to making disciples?” We can feed and build a home for every person we meet, but if we fail to apply the instructions given to us in Matthew 28:19, our efforts will have fallen short of what our Lord has called us to do. Through God's grace we can offer the gift of eternal life. We will utilize what can be done in the physical as a catalyst for a conversion to the redeeming power of our Savior Jesus Christ.
