Adult Classes

Kingdom Living

• This Bible study is for all men and women who desire to experience the abundant life that God intended for them and their families to have. This Bible study is led by Pastor Adam Ranney in the Kingdom Living Room at 9:45 am.

The Healing, Prayer and Holy Spirit Class

• Learn how to walk in the Spirit, have an effective prayer life, and obtain and keep your healing. This class is taught by Reverend Norman and Minister Mary Winans in the Kingdom Living Room at 10:45 am.

Youth Classes

R. A. M. - Refuge A.M.

• Learn how to apply Biblical truths to the lives of today's youth. This class is taught by Pastor Dan in the Youth Room at 10:45 am.

Children's Classes

• The Children's classes are broken down to age-appropriate classes that help meet each and every individual need. They are offered every Sunday morning during the  9:15 am & 10:50 am services The nursery is available at all the services.

L3 Classes - Live Learn Lead at 9:15 am

The Foundational Stones of the Christian Life - Pastor Thomas N. Malone, Sr.

• The Apostle Paul tells us in Hebrews 6 that we cannot reach spiritual maturity until we lay certain biblical foundation stones in our lives. This will be a six-week class about those foundation stones. You will not be the same once you have experienced this class, as we "study to show ourselves approved unto God as workmen needing not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth." (II Timothy 2:15)
• Pastor Malone is a third-generation ordained minister, licensed and ordained by the Rock Church of Danville, Illinois in 1985. He was Senior Pastor of Bethel Bible Church in Decatur, Illinois, and the founder and host of the live, one-hour television program "The Quickening Word." He is the author of Principles of the Christian Life, a 25-chapter course on basic Christian belief. Pastor Malone is also a noted speaker on eschatology (end-time Bible prophecy).

Healing, Prayer, and Holy Spirit - Revs. Norman and Mary Winans

• Healing, Prayer, and Holy Spirit classes are anointed with practical applications on how to obtain healing, stand in faith, and walk and live in the Spirit in all areas of our lives.
• Norman and Mary Winans have been in ministry for more than 32 years. Both are ordained and licensed ministers. The Winans attended various Bible institutes and graduated from Rhema Bible College under Rev. Kenneth Hagin.

Soul Winning - Pastor John Sierra

• The purpose of this class is to train God's people by using Godly principles to teach them how to apply them to their lives, live God's Word daily, and become soul winners.
• Pastor Sierra has been in the ministry since 1965 serving as usher, street minister, rescue mission helper, jail minister, Bible study teacher, and missionary to Tarhumara Indians in Chihuahua, Mexico. His primary goal has been soul winning, disciplining, and teaching. Before attending Scottsdale First Assembly Dream Center, Pastor John served for 37 years at the Cathedral of Faith in San Jose, California, and founded the Vision of Hope Ministries. Pastor John is presently the pastor of the Paiute Park church.

Identified (18-30ish) - Pastor Brian Dunn

• Identified is a ministry that focuses on the age where massive transition takes place in a person's life. The 18-30ish group face many new challenges. Come and be a part of this ministry that focuses on relevant teaching, a relaxed worship environment, and hang-out time. If you are 18-30, come and see what you have been missing.
• Pastor Brian has been on staff at Scottsdale First Assembly for three years. He has served as the Master's Commission Director and 5-Twenty pastor. He is also coordinating with leadership to reach the 20-somethings in the area through the ministry Identified.
• Pastor Brian has served on staff at two other churches as a youth pastor. He also attended and served on staff at Master's Commission USA (Phoenix) from 1994-98. His heart is to evangelize and train others to bring people to Christ.

Pursuit of God - Pastor Dan Brodeur

• This class is based on a little but profoundly powerful book written more than sixty years ago. This is a book that will shake you from your slumber, inspire grand thoughts of God, and expose the compromise in your heart. This is a class for the spiritually brave and religiously honest.
• Pastor Dan Brodeur has been the Student Ministries Director here at Scottsdale First Assembly since the fall of 2000. He and his wife Regan, along with their two children Marley and Jay, have made ministry a lifestyle. God has used them to build up a great team of leaders, and God has used those leaders to build a great youth group. Prior to 2000, Pastor Dan spent six years traveling with Lloyd Zeigler around the world doing youth evangelism. Pastor Dan has a passion for God's Word, and for God's people. He loves to study and loves to teach; both are obvious when you sit in on one of his classes.

Genesis: The Fall, the Flood, and the Nations - Lee Ann Byron

• This class is an in-depth, 10-week Precept Upon Precept study focusing on Genesis, Chapters 3-11. We will look at the entrance of sin into the world and the three major judgments upon mankind through the fall, the flood, and the dispersal at Babel. Most of all, we will see redemption, the thread that begins in Genesis and that is woven throughout the entire Bible. The cost for the book is $17.50.
• Lee Ann Byron has been a certified Precept Bible Study teacher for10 years. She has led a weekly Ladies Bible Study for five years and has been involved in leadership at the Scottsdale Community Bible Study. Lee Ann's heart is to teach the Word of God and to help others dig into the scriptures in a manner that focuses on the truth. God's Word is truth and studying His Word is profitable for each and every Christian.

Authority of a Believer - Reverend Greg Weldon

• Do you have authority that you don't know about, that you haven't discovered, that you're not using? Pastor Greg Weldon's desire is to answer these questions in this class, "Authority of a Believer." This class will empower you with kingdom values and improve your quality of life.
